Chicken Hatching Eggs

🐔 Ideal for beginners – chickens are hardy and easy to hatch.
🐔 21-day incubation period with steady temperature control.
🐔 Variety of breeds available for laying, meat, or ornamental purposes.

Duck Hatching Eggs

🦆 Require slightly higher humidity levels during incubation.
🦆 28-day incubation period (Muscovy ducks take 35 days).
🦆 Great for small farms and homesteads, providing excellent egg layers and pest control.

1️⃣ Storage: Keep eggs at 12-15°C (not in a fridge). Store with the pointed end down.

2️⃣ Turning: Gently turn eggs once or twice a day if not setting them immediately.

3️⃣ Incubation Ready: Use fresh eggs (ideally within 7 days) for best hatch rates.

• Chickens: 37.5°C (99.5°F)

• Ducks: 37.2°C (99°F)

✅ Humidity Levels:

• Chickens: 45-55% (Days 1-18), 65-75% (Hatching)

• Ducks: 55-65% (Days 1-25), 75% (Hatching)

✅ Turning Eggs:
Turn eggs 3-5 times per day until day 18 (chickens) or day 25 (ducks). Stop turning before hatch day.

✅ Candling:
Check eggs at Day 7 and Day 14 to remove infertile or non-developing eggs.
